Tickets

• Tickets cost $5, $7 or $10 for general admission, reserved bleacher or reserved chairback seating, respectively. Tickets are not are not available online, but may be ordered from the Starr Rink box office (315-228-7600) if paid for with a credit card. Starr Rink rarely sells out, but because the seating capacity is small, we advise buying tickets ahead of time.

Directions

• From Troy: Take the NYS Thruway (I-90) West to Exit 31 (Utica). Follow NY-12 South to Sangerfield, then take US-20 West to NY-12B South (in Bouckville, about 11 miles). * NY-12B brings you directly into Hamilton. Drive through town, go by a pond on the left. Go through the light. Most of the college is on the left. Starr Rink is on the right, across from the Natatorium. If you go past the hospital you have gone too far.* Distance: 130 miles.
• From Ithaca (Cornell): Get on NY-13, which runs through downtown Ithaca, and follow it north to Cortland. In Cortland, take I-81 North to Exit 15. Then follow US-20 East to Bouckville (about 35 miles) until it intersects NY-12B. Take NY-12B South and pick up the directions above at *. Distance: 80 miles.

Arena

• Campus map: Starr Rink is number 48, at the top of the Bottom Right map.
• Parking: Take the first right after Starr Rink for access to the free parking lot. There is also a small lot across the street from the rink.
• Seating: Starr Rink seats 2,246. It is usually possible to change seats, but be aware that many Colgate fans don't arrive until well into the first period, so you may have to move a second time. The student section has bleacher seats, but other sections have comfortable individual fold-up seats. There is no rail to stand along.
• Food: Concessions are located in the main lobby of the building and include hot dogs and snacks.

• The Colgate Inn is your best choice for lodging in Hamilton.
• If you are going to the Cornell game as well, consider staying in Cortland, which is on your route between Ithaca and Hamilton, about 50 miles from Colgate.

• The Colgate Inn and the Country Inn are both good. There are also a Pizza Hut and a McDonald's.

Other things to do

• Other events at Colgate, including sports.
• Shopping: There are a few shops in downtown Hamilton, including the Colgate bookstore.
• Movies: The Hamilton Movie House (phone: 315-824-2724) is the only movie theater in town.
• Other: The Palace Theatre has a nightclub with live entertainment and a game room.
