2021-22 Schedule Released for Men's Hockey
TROY, N.Y. The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's hockey team will play 38 regular season games during the 2021-22 season, including 18 at the Houston Field House. - We guess it’s true that all good things must come to an end. And the last year and a half have certainly brought a lot of changes for everyone. Without RPI hockey to fill our time, we at rpihockey.net have seen our priorities, our interests, and our leisure activities change tremendously.
In truth, the degree to which the entire Markham family was involved with RPI hockey has been waning for years. The younger generation finished their RPI studies many years ago now and all our lives have gone in other directions. The lost seasons of RPI during the Covid pandemic just accelerated what was coming anyway and made it easier for some of us to accept the changes.
And so, while RPI hockey will always have a place in our hearts and will always be a part of our lives, after twenty years the time has come to close the curtain on rpihockey.net. We want to thank all of you for being a part of this experience with us, and for being terrific cheerleaders both for this website and for RPI hockey in general
.
We will still be at games (when we’re allowed!), still be cheering the Engineers on, and still be excited about the successes we know will come their way.
